SECTION 01
Choose for the person and the intended use.
Read the age recommendation and warnings before giving or using a toy. Keep toys with small parts away from children under three. A decorative or collectible item should not be treated as an infant toy simply because it looks soft.
For older children, choose an item that suits their abilities and follow its instructions. Keep their small components away from younger siblings. Age guidance still applies when an adult is present.
Our collections include different materials and constructions. Check the selected product rather than assuming that all plush pieces, building sets or games have the same age suitability.
General toy safety
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission provides general guidance on choosing age-appropriate toys and keeping small parts away from young children.
SECTION 02
Before the first use.
Unpack carefully and look over the item before play, assembly or display. Keep the instructions with the piece so the next person using it has the same information.
Remove the packaging
Remove bags, fasteners and transit packaging before use. Keep packaging materials separate from toys and away from young children.
Look at the details
Check for loose attachments, open seams, broken parts or damage. Stop using a damaged item and contact us with photos and the order number.
Follow the instructions
Use the item as intended. If batteries, magnets or electrical components are present, follow their supplied warnings and keep accessible small components away from children.
SECTION 03
Plush care, step by step.
The outer fabric, filling, embroidery, trims and internal components can need different treatment. Always check the label first. Machine washing and tumble drying are options only when explicitly allowed for your item.
Read the care label
Confirm whether surface cleaning, hand washing or machine washing is permitted. Check separately for electronics, sound units, weighted filling and delicate trims.
Test a small area
For a piece that permits surface cleaning, test a barely damp soft cloth on an inconspicuous area. Use a suitable mild cleaner only if allowed by the label.
Blot gently
Avoid scrubbing embroidery or saturating the filling. Work gently on the affected area and follow the item’s specific instructions.
Allow it to dry completely
Follow the stated drying method in a ventilated place, away from direct heat. Store only when completely dry.
SECTION 04
Building sets, toys and games.
The material and any functional parts determine the cleaning method. Follow the supplied instructions; begin with a soft, dry cloth for dust when appropriate. If the item permits a damp cloth, use it sparingly and dry the surface afterward.
Avoid soaking pieces with printing, stickers, electronic parts or materials that may be damaged by moisture. Do not use solvents, abrasive pads or high heat unless the manufacturer’s instructions specifically call for them.
For a building set, store spare pieces together with the instructions. Support the model at its base when moving it rather than lifting it by a small decorative attachment. For games, count the components back into the box so the next session is complete.

Avoid crushing plush pieces under heavy objects. Support a built model on a level surface with enough space around projecting details.
Recheck over time
Look again at seams, attachments and components after use. Keep damaged pieces out of use while you arrange advice or a suitable resolution.
