For a desk or shelf
Measure the available height and depth first. Look at side views as well as the front, and leave room for long ears, hats or other parts of the silhouette. A photograph alone does not confirm that a design stands or sits without support.
For a larger space
Compare the full measurements with the chair, bed or corner you have in mind. Different shapes take up space differently, even when they share the same listed height.
When the dimensions are unclear
Ask us which measurement is shown before ordering. We would rather help you check the size than have you choose based on a close-up photograph.
